【摘要】:Horizontalmetalsurfaces,onwhichwaterdropletstendtoberetained,aremorepronetorustingandcorrosionthanverticalorslopingsurfaces.ThistestmethodisthereforemorediscriminatingthanTestMethodD665(ProcedureA),sinceitgivesaseparateevaluationoftheoilonahorizontalandaverticalsurface.Thetestmethodindicatestheabilityofoilstopreventrustingandcorrosionofallferroussurfacesinsteamturbinesunderfullflowandquasi-staticconditions.Itisusedforspecificationofnewoils.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheabilityofsteam-turbineoilstopreventtherustingofhorizontalandverticalferroussurfaceswhenwaterbecomesmixedwiththeoil.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
