【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheproportionofthetotalsolidswhicharesolublesolidsandthatproportionwhichareinsolublesolidsinasolutionoftanninextractorinthewaterextractfromraworspentmaterialspreparedfortanninanalysis.Thespecimensarealiquotsfromtheanalyticalsolutionspreparedfromtanninextractsorthewaterextractsolutionspreparedfromraworspentmaterials.ThesolublesolidsaredefinedastheportionofthetotalsolidswhicharedissolvedinthewaterandpassthroughafilterpreparedbydepositingalayerofKaolinpasteontoastandardfilterpaper.TheinsolublesaredefinedastheportionofthetotalsolidswhichdonotpassthroughthestandardfilterpaperpreparedwiththelayerofKaolinpaste.Theresultsofthistestmethodaredependentonagreatmanyvariablesbutparticularlyupon:Thetemperatureconditionsunderwhichthesolutionswerepreparedandstoredandthetemperatureatwhichthecurrentanalysisisperformed;TheuniformityandconsistencyoftheKaolinpastelayerdepositedontothefilterpaper;Therateofsolutionrun-outfromthepipette;etc.Itis,therefore,essentialthatthemethodbefollowedexactlyinordertoobtainreproducibleresultsbothamongspecimenswithinalaboratoryandforanalysesbetweenlaboratories.1.1Thistestmethodisintendedforuseindeterminingthequantityofsolublesolidsandinsolublesinsolutionsoftanninextracts,waterextractsofvegetabletanningmaterials,ortanningliquors.Thistestmethodisapplicabletotheanalysisofliquid,solid,pasty,andpowderedtanninextractsandtothewaterextractsofraworspentmaterials.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
